A recent study has claimed that drinking hot chocolate from an orange mug makes the drink taste better.

Researchers from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain conducted an experiment where 57 participants were given four samples of hot chocolate in different mugs.

The mugs were the same size but different colours – white, cream, red and orange.

The report revealed that both orange and cream-coloured mugs yielded better-tasting hot chocolate, whilst the red mug enhanced flavour.
