Organised by the BPMA, Promotional Products Week showcases the promotional merchandise industry (in the UK worth around £860,000 million a year) and demonstrates how promotional products can dovetail effectively into a business marketing strategy.
This year’s event is set to reveal responses from more than 100 marketers who will be quizzed about promotional merchandise and how they see its role in their wider marketing campaigns… so expect some valuable nuggets of information!
September’s do will also host the BPMA’s design awards competition, run with Brunel University. It’s an opportunity for UK design students to do some blue sky thinking and come up with new promotional product ideas. The winner will get the chance to pitch a prototype to prospective businesses.
Arcadia will be running its own ‘Camera, Lights, Action!’ challenge, in which everyone can get involved. Simply take a pic of a promotional item in use and mail it to email@example.com or post it on our Twitter page at @ArcadiaOnLine and you could become winner of our ‘Promotional Product in Action competition’. Top prize is a 16gb ipad mini, though all entries received will get an Arcadia goodie bag! The draw’s on Friday 18th September, 2015.

Having worked in Promotional Merchandise for the last 25 years I have been exposed to all aspects of the industry. Starting out as an account manager working with some of the worlds leading brands, I have learnt to understand the needs of a client, manufacturing processes, and what it takes to deliver a successful promotional campaign that is on brand, on time and within a given budget.
