A reusable promotional water bottle is set to help reduce damage to the environment caused by discarded plastic water bottles.

Statistics on the H2WOW website make for sobering reading: 150 million plastic water bottles sold each day worldwide but only 25% recycled; 900 years for a plastic bottle to disintegrate; bottled water shipped worldwide in over 65,000 lorries every week; over 100,000 seabirds die as a result of swallowing small pieces of plastic found on most of the beaches of the world, according to a UN survey.
